Connect your channels
- 1. Add the bot. Choose your server in Discord and approve the requested permissions.
- 2. Choose channels in Discord. Run the command below in your server. Select your real channels from Discord’s channel picker; replace the example channel names.
- 3. Check delivery. Run
/giveaway-city testto send a test alert to your chosen channels.
/giveaway-city setup giveaways:#your-giveaways-channel discount-codes:#your-discount-channelOnly new listings are sent after setup. Allow the bot to view and send messages, embed links and read message history in each destination. Alerts may take a few minutes to arrive.
Change channels with /giveaway-city setup, check settings with /giveaway-city status, or pause all alerts with /giveaway-city stop. Leaving a channel option out of setup disables that feed.
